When you work through IDWS and make use of accommodation, this is arranged in cooperation with our main housing partner IDHS. This organisation specialises in managing and organising housing locations for our employees in the Netherlands.
This ensures that your accommodation is arranged just as well as your work.

We provide high-quality accommodation with the goal of making living locations as comfortable as possible for residents. The homes are modern and offer peace and privacy after a working day.
Where possible, residents have access to private facilities. The living spaces are fully furnished, allowing you to stay in an environment where you can truly feel at home during your working period in the Netherlands.

Annual independent resident satisfaction survey
To continuously improve the quality of our accommodation and services, we conduct an independent resident satisfaction survey each year. In 2025, 87.4% of our employees indicated that they were very satisfied with their accommodation.
The survey showed that residents particularly value the safety of the locations and their proximity to local facilities. The fast handling of maintenance requests is also seen as an important advantage.
The results are actively used to further improve housing locations and develop new quality standards.
Support with finding permanent housing
For employees who plan to stay in the Netherlands for a longer period, we provide support with the transition to permanent accommodation.
This includes assistance with applications, explanations of rental agreements and registration with local municipalities. Support can also be provided when searching for housing and communicating with landlords.
This approach contributes to stability for employees and continuity for employers.
In-house facilities service for maintenance and management
Housing locations are maintained by our own facilities team. Technical issues are handled quickly and preventive maintenance is carried out to ensure housing quality.
Requests are centrally registered, allowing recurring issues to be identified and resolved more efficiently. This results in shorter response times and clear communication for residents.
SNF-certified accommodation
All accommodation provided through IDWS complies with the standards of the Dutch Foundation for Flexible Living Standards (SNF). This certification sets requirements for safety, space, hygiene and facilities within accommodation locations.
Locations are regularly inspected by internal and external auditors. This ensures that quality remains demonstrably safeguarded and that accommodation complies with applicable regulations.
