Are you an experienced and certified welder who enjoys working in a modern industrial environment? For a large production company at the Maasvlakte, we are looking for professionals who have experience with various welding processes and enjoy working on large steel structures. In this role, you will work on high-quality projects where safety, accuracy, and craftsmanship are key. You will work with different welding methods such as 135, 136, 138 and possibly 111 (manual welding) or 121 (SAW welding). Are you looking for a stable position with good earnings, shift allowances, and plenty of working hours? Then this is a position that suits you.
What will you do?
- Performing welding tasks according to established welding procedures and technical specifications
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions before starting work
- Setting up and operating welding equipment according to the correct procedures and safety regulations
- Checking materials and workpieces for damage, dimensions, and suitability for the welding process
- Removing welding spatter and residues using hand tools, brushes, or grinding tools
- Inspecting weld seams and repairing any welding defects according to applicable guidelines
- Registering completed work on route cards and production forms
- Using hand tools, measuring equipment, and lifting equipment during the work process
- Working with personal protective equipment and following safety procedures
- Ensuring a safe, tidy, and organized workplace
What do we ask from you?
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a welder
- Valid VCA Basic certificate (Dutch or English)
- Valid welding certificate NIL level 3 MIG/MAG, Electrode, or equivalent
- Working at heights certificate (required for Maasvlakte)
- Driver’s license B
- Minimum language level B1 in Dutch or English
- Willingness to work with personal protective equipment
- Medically fit for physical work
What do we offer you?
- Salary between €3,010 and €3,500 gross per month
- Starting salary from €18.52 per hour
- Possibility to work 36 to 60 hours per week
Allowances
- 28% allowance for afternoon shifts
- 35% allowance for night shifts
- 75% allowance for overtime and Saturdays
- 100% allowance for Sundays
