Are you an experienced welder who enjoys working on large steel structures within an industrial production environment? For a leading company in the steel industry, we are looking for certified welders with experience in various welding processes, including SAW welding (121) and manual welding. In this role, you will work on high-quality steel constructions where safety, precision, and craftsmanship are key. You will work in a modern production environment where large components are produced for international projects. Are you looking for a stable position with good earnings and shift allowances? What will you do?
- Performing welding tasks according to established welding procedures and technical specifications
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions before starting work
- Setting up and checking welding equipment to ensure it functions correctly and safely
- Welding different joint types according to the applicable welding procedures
- Checking materials for quantities, damage, and suitability for processing
- Consulting with the Hall Coordinator and Welding Process Specialist in case of deviations or technical questions
- Registering completed work on route cards and production forms
- Using hand tools, measuring equipment, and lifting equipment during the work process
- Removing welding spatter and residues using brushes or grinding tools
- Repairing welding defects according to established repair procedures
- Ensuring a safe, tidy, and organized workplace
- Welding processes within this position may include: 111, 121 (SAW welding), 135, 136, and 138.
What do we ask from you?
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a welder
- Valid VCA Basic certificate (Dutch or English)
- Valid welding certificate NIL level 3 MIG/MAG and/or Electrode or equivalent
- Working at heights certificate (required for this position)
- Driver’s license B
- Minimum language level B1 in Dutch or English
- Safety-conscious and accurate work attitude
What do we offer you?
- Starting salary from €17.00 gross per hour
- Possibility to work 40+ hours per week
Allowances
- 28% allowance for afternoon shifts
- 35% allowance for night shifts
- 75% allowance for overtime and Saturdays
- 100% allowance for Sundays

- Travel allowance of €0.23 per km when using your own car
