Do you enjoy working in an industrial environment and do you have experience with internal transport and logistics processes? For our client at the Maasvlakte, we are looking for experienced transport operators who are responsible for safely moving, loading, and unloading large steel structures and materials on site. In this role, you will work with various logistics equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and magnetic cranes. Safety, overview, and accuracy are key. Are you looking for a stable position with good allowances and plenty of working hours? Then this is a job that suits you.
What will you do?
- Transporting large steel structures, hulls, and sections using forklifts and overhead or magnetic cranes
- Loading and unloading trucks and barges according to the applicable lifting and transport procedures
- Acting as a traffic controller on site when necessary to ensure safe transport operations
- Checking and processing delivery notes and registering incoming materials
- Performing visual inspections of lifting equipment and immediately reporting any deviations or damage
- Moving rolling scaffolds and other transport equipment according to instructions from the supervisor
- Inspecting completed sections and transporting them to the correct storage or work location
- Sorting and separating waste streams using a forklift
- Ensuring a tidy and safe working environment in the outdoor area
What do we ask from you?
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar logistics or industrial role
- Valid VCA Basic certificate (Dutch or English)
- Forklift certificate
- Crane or lifting instruction
- Aerial work platform certificate (required for Maasvlakte) or willingness to obtain this through internal training
- Driver’s license B
- Minimum language level B1 in Dutch or English
- Safety-conscious and accurate work attitude
What do we offer you?
- Salary between €2,959 and €3,010 gross per month
- Starting salary from €18.21 per hour
- Possibility to work 36 to 60 hours per week
Allowances
- 28% allowance for afternoon shifts
- 35% allowance for night shifts
- 75% allowance for overtime and Saturdays
- 100% allowance for Sundays

- Travel allowance of €0.23 per km when using your own car
- Health insurance available (€164.75 per month if required)
